Broke and Accused: VDM Speaks Out After EFCC Release
Well-known social activist Martins Otse, also recognized as Verydarkman, has addressed the public after being released from EFCC detention.
A widely shared clip circulating on social media shows Verydarkman sitting inside a vehicle next to his attorney, Deji Adeyanju.
Looking straight into the lens, he voiced his astonishment about the allegations of money laundering pressed against him, expressing confusion as to why these claims would target an individual with modest means.
“How would they level allegations of money laundering on someone who doesn’t have money? I have done so many charity, they wonder how, they don’t know I use debt for charity,” he said.
He finished by saying, “In any case, we are out here, with my lawyer present, of course.”
