Unity in Health: 4th Annual Corporate Walk for Life by HR Certification Centre

On May 1, 2025, the HR Certification Centre celebrated an important landmark with their successful hosting of the fourth iteration of the event.
Corporate Walk for Life
, a motivational occasion centered around well-being, fitness, and communal enthusiasm.

More than 150 passionate attendees came together for this inspiring event, showcasing their dedication to individual health and business ethics.

The day began at the HR Certification Centre, where attendees were introduced to Ayi Mensah.

We began an exhilarating climb involving more than 3,500 steps up the mountainside alongside distinguished figures such as Dr. Jeff Bassay (the founder of both the HR Certification Center and the Institute of Leadership and Strategy), Mr. Michael Abbiw (CIMG President), Mr. Patrick Asiamah (SYNLAB Ghana CEO), Mr. Kwabena Agyekum (another CIMG CEO), Pearl P. Tehoda (HR Certification Center Executive Director), along with representatives from MGA, the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport, Glico Life, Geocrest, alumni and present students and mentees connected to these centers, and members of the certified HR association, all journeying towards the peaceful setting of Hephzibah Christian Centre, which was enveloped by natural serenity—a fitting location for a wellness-oriented gathering.

In order to invigorate everybody, Coach Allotey from Calve Well, with support from Collins at Activ8 Gym and Spa, conducted an energetic aerobics session that lifted spirits and encouraged movement, establishing an active and health-focused atmosphere for the day.

A major focus was placed on health screenings, where the Ghana Medical Centre provided complimentary vital sign evaluations, offering individuals crucial information regarding their current health condition. Furthermore, Synlab Ghana contributed by delivering free laboratory tests for conditions such as Hepatitis B, random glucose levels, and malaria, enabling participants to take charge of maintaining their well-being proactively.

The event went beyond promoting physical exercise; it also highlighted the importance of accessing vital healthcare services. It stressed that employees in corporations ought to make their well-being a priority as this can enhance both productivity and the general quality of life.

We offer our heartfelt thanks to every partner and sponsor who provided steadfast support, which was crucial for the success of the 4th edition of the event.
Corporate Walk for Life
