Wenssens Signs with Belgian Third Tier Club KVV Thes Sports

The Amavubi goalkeeper, Maxime Kali Wenssens, has signed with the Belgian third-tier team KVV Thes Sports for a period of one year. At 23 years old, Wenssens has remained unaffiliated after departing from Union Saint-Gilloise last year. He recently tried out with several teams such as Jong Ajax and Roda JC during the January transfer window but was unable to finalize a contract.
This transition to Thes Sports could prove beneficial for Wenssens as he looks to regain top form. Last season, Thes Sports secured fifth place and now aims to advance to the second division in the upcoming campaign. Prior to this, Wenssens also represented KV Mechelen among others.
